I've created a semi fictional world that exists on social media. You've been following along, watching the narrative unfold.
There's a world to explore, the laws, the land, the fake companies, the publications and the array of alter egos and characters that exist already on social media.
This project is collaborative, like a role playing game.
But so far I've been playing by myself..

People have been interacting with the Faketrix accounts and it's really cool!
Thank you to those who have Entered The Faketrix simply by commenting and replying to the alter egos and fake companies on social media, and even contributing to the continuing narrative of The Faketrix expanded universe.
Here's one of my favourite interactions so far, it may not seem like much, but I see the potential for this collaborative experiment to grow..
This conversation which started on the comment section of one of The Sculpt Factories posts celebrating the start of the fictional 'Creative Waste Awareness Week' by someone just asking whether we recycle or upcycle, turned into a conversation between my alter egos and characters with social media accounts..
The next day the Sculpt Factory posted a video in response to this comment.
As an artist this felt like I was really getting into the nitty gritty of this social media experiment, and starting to understand what kind of collaborations this project could produce in the future..
I've been looking into RPGs (role playing games) which are usually table top games such as dungeons and dragons where a fictional world is created with laws and backstory, and the players create characters that fit within that world, the players go through the world interacting with each other and developing the changing narrative.
I've never played an RPG, but it feels like The Faketrix has a similar feel to it, an ever expanding fictional universe that can be explored and played in..
